Especially Wendy who has been absolutely vital with her help and to this day is still tirelessly searching for news updates so we can cross off these last few people as found safe. THANK YOU!

Just to let you know, since your site is still listing them:

John (Mr) Easdown of Extons Rd Kinglake is safe, as he has been convalescing in Melbourne for a while now.  John's son Role and his partner Carolyn are also fine, though only after defending theirs and Johns home on Black Saturday.  As I understand it, it was a close thing, but apart from losing 1/3 of the Blueberries, they are OK.

Wondering if anyone knows if the little white weatherboard antique/nursery/tea rooms place opposite and up a bit from the Kinglake SES building survived. I think its called Rose Cottage or Rosewood Cottage or something like that. The lady who runs it (sorry, I'm dreadful with names - Eileen? Elaine?) is really lovely and its our favourite place to visit. My daughter keeps asking to go see the 'chook lady' (has chooks out the back) and I don't know how to tell her the beautiful place we love with the kind owner may be gone. Jeff lost his home or at least is assuming so since no one is allowed into Marysville because of it being a crime scene.
Jeff and his teenage children, Rachelle and Raphael are looked after in a motel.

Hello, Thank you for this opportunity to search for my friend. She has not answered any emails for over a week now and I am seriously worried about her - Carolyn Simmons. Used to live in Adelaide. Recently relocated when her mother passed away. All I know is that she moved to the Melbourne area after visiting us here last summer/fall. Has visited us here in Israel for many months at a time.
