Guido MICHEL was reported missing on 4th February 2022

Guido was last seen by work colleagues at 11:30pm on 28th January 2022 when he finished his shift at ‘Spotless Linen', in Murdoch, WA.

At 3.52pm on 30th February 2022, Guido was captured on CCTV at ‘Keep safe Storage’ O’Connor, WA, loading camping equipment into his 2011 white Ford Territory, registration 1DRE552.

In the CCTV, Guido is wearing below knee, loose fit, blue denim shorts, a grey/green round neck T-shirt and training shoes.

Guido has several tattoos, including;

The names ‘ISHAN’ and ‘EVA’ on the inside of both forearms (one name per arm).

A Celtic band on his right forearm.

Metallica ‘Justice for all’ on his left shoulder.

Guido possibly travelled south along the Brookton Highway towards the Jarrahdale State Forrest area.

Police have issued a desperate appeal to find a 54-year-old hospital worker who has been missing for more than a month south-east of Perth.

It is understood Michel Guido was planning on going camping in the Flint area, 70km from the city, having packed his white Ford Territory on Sunday, January 30 and filled the tank with fuel.

He was last seen at the Christmas Tree Well, just off Brookton Highway that day.

Mr Guido’s boss alerted police after he failed to turn up for work on February 4.

But following an extensive ground search, questioning and telecommunication and social media examination, police have not been able to get in touch with Mr Guido or locate his car.

“We can’t get in contact with him and we’ve not found anyone that’s had contact with him since then,” Detective Sergeant John Hawkes said on Thursday.

“We don’t know how he’s going and we would like him to make contact with police or with somebody on what state he’s in or how he’s going.”

Mr Guido’s family said he is a proficient camper but it was out of character for him to not turn up to work or tell anyone where he was.

“Michel is a fairly quiet, friendly guy ... very friend and family orientated,” his brother said.

“We’re here reaching out to the public, pleading to anyone who’s seen his face or his car - a strange campsite or some smoke coming out of the bush, any information at all would be great and appreciated.

“My brother has been missing for over a month now so the family is getting very concerned.”

Mr Guido is described as 172cm tall with a medium build, short greying hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees Mr Guido or his car, with the registration plate ‘1DRE 552’ is asked to call 131 444 immediately.
