Sydney police are searching for a Chinese student who has been missing from his home in Surry Hills since yesterday.
You Yang Wang - also known as David Wang - has not contacted friends and family.
Police say they are concerned for the 19-year-old's welfare.
Overnight officers used the police helicopter and the dog squad to search and area around Oatley in the city's south, but found no sign of Mr Wang.
The student is described as being of Asian appearance, 175cm tall with a slim build and dark hair and eyes.
