Monday, 03 Nov 2008 01:02pmPolice are appealing for the public’s help to find a man missing from Sydney’s west since late September this year.
Ahmet Yilmaz, 54, had been residing at a care facility on Good Street at Westmead, where he was receiving daily medication for a health condition.
He was last seen leaving the residence about 5pm on Monday 29 September.
Mr Yilmaz did not take his medication with him and there are concerns for his welfare. He was due to start a different round of medication several days after going missing.
The missing man is described as being Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, thin build, 165cm tall with a short cropped white beard. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured jacket, dark coloured trousers and a beanie.
Anyone who has seen Mr Yilmaz or who knows of his whereabouts should immediately contact Merrylands Police via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police believe he might have travelled to the Wollongong area.
