Vyacheslav ZHABIN

Date of birth - 19 February 1988. Aged 20 when missing, would now be 21 years of age.

His height is 178см, he is thin. He has grey-blue eyes. Brightly expressed wide- dark eyebrows. His hair is long and brown. He has a scar from appendicitis. There is a round birth-mark on a right shoulder-blade.

Vyacheslav is a Ukrainian man who was a crewmember aboard the ship/bulk carrier Mineral China. The ship docked at Gladstone, QLD on November 2nd 2008 and Vyacheslav attended a doctor's appointment ashore in Gladstone.

Crew members aboard the ship have stated he returned to the vessel and was aboard at 2am. The ship then departed Gladstone bound for Korea on November 3rd 2008.

Vyacheslav was believed to have been lost overboard in a position 230 nautical miles (421 kilometres) east of Mackay (Queensland, Australia).
