Thomas Morton SHEPHERD

Tattoos - on one arm are the names of two of his sisters, Valerie and Norma. On his left forearm is a swallow with red and blue flowers.

Thomas Shepherd was a registered seaman at the Port of Kembla who served in the Merchant Navy from November 1971 to August 1972. Mr Shepherd's last ship was the Iron Somersby.

He was discharged in Port Kembla on August 22nd 1972 and was due to report to the Port Kembla Seaman's Engagement Centre for further employment on 30th October 1972. He did not appear on this date and subsequently his registration was cancelled when he did not contact the centre for two months.

On June 15th 1972 Thomas was known to be in Dampier, Western Australia as he committed some "very minor offences" and was spoken to by Police "on numerous occasions".
