NT Police are concerned for the welfare of a 43-year-old man missing from the Darwin area for several weeks.

Terrence Smith was last seen in his apartment complex in late May. Police say he has not been in contact with family or friends and gave no indication that he was leaving the area.

He is described as Caucasian, 170 cm tall with greyish hair, medium to slim build with an olive complexion. He may also have facial hair.

There is some indication that he may have travelled interstate, in particular Queensland and South Australia and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
