Police seek assistance to locate missing Euroa man

At around 8.30pm on Sunday 29 November 2009, Twenty-two year old intellectually disabled man Timothy Scarlett left his home in Euroa to walk the family's Jack Russell dog and has not returned.

Timothy is 180 cm tall, 90kg with short black hair, wearing a grey polo shirt, brown shorts, brown runners and navy blue socks and has a speech impediment.

At 9.30 an amount of money was withdrawn from Timothy's account over the counter at the Commonwealth bank in Bourke Street.

On previous occasions Timothy has been located in Shepparton, Seymour and Geelong areas.

Police and Timothy's family have concerns for his welfare due to his disability and believe the dog may still be with him.

The foster parents of an intellectually disabled Euroa man who has been missing since Sunday fear he will be living rough and feeding off bin scraps to survive.

Lorraine and Neville Mawson also believe Timothy Scarlett may be headed for a favourite holiday destination after disappearing on Sunday.

The 22-year-old left their Euroa home to walk the family's Jack Russell dog Simba and did not return.

``We are concerned for him, it is not good if he's sleeping out on park benches,'' Mrs Mawson said.

Victorian Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a man missing from Euroa.

Timothy Scarlett, aged 21-years-old, was last seen around 7pm on Wednesday 11 March at the Euroa Hotel.

Concerns are held for the missing man as he suffers from a learning disability and has the intellectual capacity of a 14-year-old.

Timothy is described as 180 cms, medium build, short dark hair, and was last seen wearing a yellow fluorescent shirt with blue work pants and work boots.

Timothy did not take his wallet or mobile phone with him.

Police appeal for help in search for missing Euroa man

Police are appealing for public help in finding a man who went missing from Euroa last week.

Timothy Scarlett, 21, was last seen at the Euroa hotel about 7:00pm AEDT on Wednesday night.

He has a learning disability and does not have his wallet or mobile phone with him.

Sergeant Ashley Mason says his family is worried about him.

"They're concerned and they haven't heard or seen from him since last Wednesday and obviously, given the circumstances, they're concerned for his welfare also," he said.

"We haven't heard anything at all and that's why we're requesting assistance through the media out to the members of the community, if they know where Tim is to get in contact with Crime Stoppers."
