Police fear for missing north coast man

Police are seeking help from the public to find a missing 67-year-old man from Ballina, on the New South Wales north coast, last seen at Gunnedah in the state's north-west.
John Oxland was last seen in the town last Monday.
He is believed to be driving a gold 2002 Hyundai Accent with the registration number AQ-22-EV.
Inspector Scott Bingham says Mr Oxland's family is concerned for his welfare.
"The family's a bit worried and now from the information the police have we're a bit worried as well," he said.
"We're just concerned that he hasn't been in recent contact with his family. It is out of character for Mr Oxland, he's by all accounts a very learned man, keeps close with his family and he's usually in contact with them."
Anyone with information is urged to contact Ballina police on 6681 8699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
