Circumstances

Otto Rudolph Hein (AKA Stephen Adamac) was born in Austria on 7 February 1947, before migrating to Australia where he lived in Darwin NT during 1967. Otto later moved to Western Australia and in 1969 commenced working on a farm near Carnamah, 300 kilometres north of Perth.

On 11 May 1969, Otto left his work in his vehicle, a 1956-57 Holden sedan, registration CA421 (WA) to go into town to purchase cigarettes and collect mail from the Post Office. Otto never returned to his work place.

On 13 May 1969, Otto was spoken to by Norseman Police where he indicated he was going to travel across the Nullarbor Plain. He has not been sighted since his contact with Police in Norseman.

On 24 May 1969, Otto's motor vehicle was located in bushland near the Menzies Leonora Road in Menzies.

The person or persons responsible for Otto's disappearance have not been identified.
