Circumstances

Michael Lenssen was reported missing on the 24th of October 2019 by this family in Netherlands who have been unable to contact him since 2017. Michael’s last known address is in Launceston, Tasmania. He still holds a lease on a residence which has been paid in advance however the residence is vacant. Information indicates Michael was still in Launceston in December 2019. Michael appears to live a transient lifestyle; he has little contact with people or family.

7/8/2020 - Tasmania Police

Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of 48-year-old Michael Joseph Lenssen.
Michael’s family, who live in the Netherlands, have not heard from him for a number of months and are concerned for his welfare.
CCTV footage shows Michael visiting a business in the Launceston CBD on Monday, 30 March 2020, but police have not had any confirmed sightings of him since.
Michael is described as being approximately 180cm tall with a solid build, short brown hair and fair skin. He speaks with a European accent and was last seen wearing beige dress pants, a light coloured check shirt, and carrying a black satchel bag.
