Fears for missing paraplegic Michael Fahey

A WHEELCHAIR-bound man who went missing 16 days ago is in poor health, raising fears for his welfare.

Paraplegic Michael Fahey, 53, disappeared from his home at Kalbeeba, near Gawler, SA on December 13 and has not been seen or heard of since despite enquires by police.

He is believed to be driving a green 1985 Subaru station wagon, registration No. WFB 935, and has a wheelchair with him.

"Police and his family are concerned for Mr Fahey's welfare as he is not in good health," a police spokesman said.

Mr Fahey is about 170cm tall, with a fair complexion, blue eyes, a medium build with unkempt, brown, collar-length hair and a "scraggly" beard and moustache, police said.
