Human skeleton found in Perth bushland

 North Coast Times

A HUMAN skeleton found in northern suburbs bushland this month may have been there for more than three years.

WA Police spokesman Adam Brouwer said a member of the public found the bones on Sunday, April 7, in the Tamala Park Conservation Reserve between Burns Beach and Mindarie.

“They were doing some off-road driving in the dunes at the time,” he said.

Police are investigating whether the remains are of a man in his 40s who was reported missing in 2015.

“It doesn’t appear that there have been any suspicious circumstances,” Mr Brouwer said.

“A report will be prepared for the Coroner.”
