TRAGICALLY LOCATED DECEASED

Police to conduct incident
re-creation after Blue Mountains woman's body Margaret Hills, 60, was found
THE discovery of a woman's body in the Blue Mountains has led police
to conduct an incident re-creation in hope of establishing the circumstances
surrounding her disappearance.
The body of Margaret Hills, 60, was found by a bushwalker below Echo Point
about 5.30pm on December 10, 2011.
Detectives completed an incident re-creation in the area as part of their
investigation into Mrs Hills' disappearance and death.
Blue Mountains Local Area Command Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Michael
Bostock believes these inquiries may encourage members of the public to come
forward with information.
"We are hoping that by re-visiting her last known locations, we may refresh
someone's memory as to what they saw the evening she disappeared,'' Detective
Inspector Bostock said.
"We are seeking anyone with information about Mrs Hills' movements that night to
come forward and assist with our investigation.
"No matter how small or irrelevant the information might seem, it could be the
much-needed piece of the puzzle we need to solve this case.''
Anyone with information on Mrs Hills' disappearance should contact Crime
Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police also encourage any visitors to Echo Point between Tuesday, February 2,
2010 and Wednesday, February 10, 2010, which may have photos or video of the
area to upload the files through the online reporting link at
www.nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
