QLD Police are appealing for assistance in locating 49-year-old Texas man Malcolm Grant Hills who was reported missing on August 9 after he failed to turn up for work.

Mr Hills, who worked and resided at The Stockman Hotel at Texas, was last seen by his colleagues around 11pm on August 8 going to his bedroom.

They alerted police after he failed to turn up for his shift the next day and was not in his room.

Inquiries have established Mr Hills travelled to Redcliffe on August 9 where he left his vehicle, a white Ford Falcon sedan with Queensland registration 480 JWF, parked at the Kippa Ring Village Hotel on Elizabeth Avenue.

Mr Hills booked a room at the hotel then ordered a taxi around noon telling hotel staff he was going to a function. He has not been seen since.

There are concerns for Mr Hills’ welfare as he suffers from a number of medical conditions and it is not known if he has his medication.

Mr Hills is described as Caucasian, overweight, with an olive complexion, hazel eyes, grey hair and a crew cut hair style. It is not known what clothing he was last seen wearing.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Mr Hills is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, Texas police on 4653 1420 or Warwick police on 4660 4444.
