Concerns for missing Korumburra woman

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 48-year-old woman missing since 24 December 2009.

Lynette Nott was last seen walking in Jumbunna Road, Korumburra about 3pm.

Police and family hold concerns for Ms Nott’s welfare as she suffers from a medical condition that requires medication.

Ms Nott has not made contact with her family which is completely out of character.

It is believed that she did not take her handbag, money, cigarettes or her teeth. 

Her bank account details have not been accessed since her disappearance.

Ms Nott is described as Caucasian, long brown hair, no teeth, 168cm tall, solid build, brown eyes and a ruddy complexion. 

She was wearing black tracksuit pants and top. 

Ms Nott does not have a driver’s licence or a car and it’s believed that she may have hitch hiked towards South Australia.

Police have conducted a line search for a missing Korumburra woman.

The homicide squad was brought in last week to investigate the disappearance of Lynnette Nott, 48, who has not been seen since Christmas Eve.

She was last seen walking in Jumbunna Road and has not made contact with her family or accessed her bank account.

Ms Nott also has a medical condition that requires medication.

She is described as being 168 centimetres tall, with a solid build, long brown hair, brown eyes, and a ruddy complexion.

Police and the State Emergency Service conducted a line search of Bena Road on Saturday.
