Michael Lorenz-Schrader was known as “Adrian” to close family and friends and was believed to be planning to travel to the Northern Territory via western Queensland.

Michael Adrian Lorenz-Schrader (55) was reported missing on September 20, 1996, having last been seen by family on August 21 1996.

Michael had lived in Cairns for some months before being reported missing. Family believe Michael was travelling to the Northern Territory via Western Queensland. While police believe Michael may have spent some time in the Northern Territory after his last sighting, he has never been located.

Michael had been driving a brown coloured Ford Falcon station wagon (374AEY) which has also never been located.

Michael is described as 185cm tall, with a solid build, tanned complexion, brown eyes, black hair and wears glasses. Michael suffers from a medical condition.
