Police have renewed an appeal for help to find a missing Aboriginal girl after she was spotted at Corio Shopping Centre this week.

Kalisha Jones, also known as Delma Jones, was reported missing at 2.09pm on October 6 after leaving her home in Settlement Road, Belmont.

Corio Police Sergeant Brendon Boseley said the 13-year-old was last seen with friends and family at Corio Shopping Centre.

“We’ve had a number of reported sightings and have made numerous enquiries,” he said.

Sgt Boseley said police were not treating her disappearance as suspicious.

He believed she had run away from home and was living with relatives in the Corio area.

“We have serious concerns about her safety and well-being,” he said.

Kalisha was described as Aboriginal, about 160cm tall, 45kg, with long, dyed, black hair and a short fringe.

“We’re appealing for assistance to help us with the search,” Sgt Boseley said.

He urged anyone with information about Kalisha to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Corio Police on 5273 9555.
