Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a man last seen in Cairns on November 23.

Joss Tindal has not contacted family or friends since and police hold concerns for his welfare.

Joss is described as Aboriginal in appearance, slim build, 180cm tall, black hair with a goatie beard.

Although his exact location is unknown he often frequents Cairns and Townsville CBD areas.

 

 

Missing man Far North Queensland: Sister and cousin of Cairns man missing for almost three months beg for information to help find Joss Tindal-Cockatoo

THE sister and cousin of a Cairns man who has been missing for almost three months have made a heartbroken plea for information to find him.

Father-of-two Joss Tindal-Cockatoo, 26, was last seen by his family on September 10 last year when he was dropped off on Hoare St about 9pm.

There was also an unconfirmed sighting of him in the Cairns CBD during November.

His sister Sunni Tindal and cousin Jodie Cockatoo-Creed spoke out today in the hopes someone may have information about his whereabouts, or he may see their pleas and contact family.

“We are concerned for his safety and we just want him bought home,” Ms Tindal said.

“It’s very out of character that he has done this.

“He has two beautiful children that he visits regularly.

“We want you home Joss. We just want to know that you are safe.

She said Joss had links to Mareeba, Cairns and Townsville and had been known to hitchhike in the past.

Ms Cockatoo-Creed said any information may be valuable

“Even if you think it looks like Joss, can you please contact police as soon as possible,” she said.

 

“We’re just hoping that someone out there, even if you’re out there looking at us Joss, please contact us.”

Mr Tindal-Cockatoo is described as being a male of Aboriginal appearance and of slim build. He is between 175 and 180cm tall and has black hair. When last seen he also had a goatee style beard.
