Missing Person – Palmerston
 
NT Police are concerned for the welfare of a 72-year-old man, John Sullivan, who has not been seen since 11:00 am yesterday morning at his home in Woodroffe.  
 
He is described as Caucasian of medium build, 165 centimetres tall, has grey hair and was wearing a long sleeved shirt, knee length pants and thongs.  
 
He is driving a 1990 model Mitsibishi van that is brown and white in colour with white rims, curtains across the windows and a ‘For Sale’ sign.  
 
Police received the report at around 10:30 pm last night and have conducted patrols around the rural area and Palmerston and as far away as Katherine in case he may have left Darwin in that direction.  
 
Police are concerned for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition which requires daily treatment and are urging anyone who may have seen a person or vehicle matching this description to call police on 131 444.
