NSW Police are appealing for help to locate a man who has been missing from his
Woy Woy home since January this year.
John Edward French is believed to have left his home on or about 12 January
2005, however his destination is not known.
Inquiries by detectives from the Brisbane Water Local Area Command reveal Mr
French was a quiet person who lived alone and kept to himself. He was also an
enthusiastic member of a model boat club, but members have not seen or heard
from him since early January.
Police and Mr French's family hold grave concerns for his welfare. His family
have told police it is out-of-character for him to disappear.
Police are keen to hear from any members of the public who might have spoken
with Mr French over the past few months.
In particular, police would like to hear from any person who might have had
civil or legal dealings with Mr French in the months leading up to his
disappearance, or since January.
