NSW Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing teenage girl from Sydney’s west.

Jemma Dixon, 15, was last seen leaving her home on Vella Crescent in Blacktown sometime after 9.45am on Wednesday 6 January.

The girl told a relative she planned to go for a swim with a friend.

Attempts to contact her since that time have so far been unsuccessful but police believe she might be in the Mt Druitt area.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age.

Jemma is described as being white/European appearance, 150 to 155cm tall, 45to 50kg, thin build, hazel eyes, with dyed black shoulder length hair and last seen wearing denim jeans.

Anyone with information about Jemma’s whereabouts should immediately contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
