Jeanne Christine D’ARCY missing since 13th April 2022.

Jeanne was last seen by staff of the Ocean Beach Hotel, Cottesloe, where she had been staying for the previous 1 night.

Hotel staff last saw Jeanne leaving the hotel at 11:09pm and walk across Marine Parade towards the beach.

At the time of her last sighting Jeanne was wearing dark blue jeans, a long sleaved floral top and slip-on shoes.

WA Police are seeking information from the public to locate 75-year-old Jeanne Christine D’ARCY.
Jeanne was last seen in the vicinity of the Ocean Beach Hotel on Marine Parade in Cottesloe around 11pm last night, 13 April 2022.
She is described as 159cm tall, fair skinned, medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a floral long sleeve top and slip on shoes.
Concerns are held for her welfare and police ask that anyone who has seen her contact 131 444 immediately.

Police are still searching for Jeanne Christine D’Arcy, who went missing in Cottesloe more than 48 hours ago.

The 75-year-old was last seen in the vicinity of the Ocean Beach Hotel on Marine Parade about 11pm on Wednesday.

Fremantle Police shared two images of Ms D’Arcy on Thursday night, close to 24 hours after she vanished.

The post was shared by Ms D’Arcy’s daughter Maree two hours later.

“My mum is missing,” she wrote on Facebook. “Please if you have any information about her movements last night around 11pm coming out of the OBH MOTEL Please call the police.”

Ms D’Arcy is described as 159cm tall, fair skinned and of a medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a floral long sleeve top and slip on shoes.

Concerns are held for Ms D’Arcy’s welfare and police ask that anyone who has seen her call 131 444 immediately.

The daughter of a 75-year-old woman who vanished from Cottesloe more than 48 hours ago has pleaded with the public to help find her mum.

Police launched a massive search of the coastline after Jeanne Christine D’Arcy was reported missing by her family.

The woman, who lives in Meadow Springs, was last seen crossing a road outside Cottesloe’s Ocean Beach Hotel on Marine Parade about 11pm on Wednesday.

“We are desperate to find Mum,” Ms D’Arcy’s daughter Maree said.

“This is very unusual for her. She loves Cottesloe, she loves this area.

“So if you see her or if remember anything about my mum around this area, please come down here or see the police.”

Acting Insp. Paul Robinson said some of Ms D’Arcy’s belongings had been found on the beach and police were very concerned for her welfare.

“The police have located some items along the shore at Cottesloe,” he said.

“We are not ruling out anything at this point in time but I would like to stress that at the moment, no criminality has been identified.

“We have welfare concerns for Jeannie and we’re exhausting all our resources in trying to locate her.

”We have Police Airwing we have Water Police, the State Emergency Service, the Emergency Operations Unit, local police and mounted all assisting in the search.

“Plus we have some external government agencies as well, such as the local Rangers assisting us.”

Acting Insp. Robinson said Ms D’Arcy was seen buying a coffee at a cafe next door to the hotel where she was staying at about 9.30pm before going back up to her hotel room.

“At approximately 11.09 she’s then seen coming down,” he said.

“We’ve got CCTV footage showing Jeanne actually leaving the accommodation and crossing the street, and that’s the last that we’ve seen.”

Hope is fading as detectives change their approach in the search for a woman who vanished after leaving a pub in an affluent beachside suburb.

The search for missing a 75-year-old Perth woman Jeanne D’Arcy has been scaled back today.

WA Police are conducting foot patrols of the beach area at Cottesloe and water police will conduct intermittent patrols of the coast during the day.

Ms D‘Arcy was last seen about 11.09pm Wednesday, leaving the Ocean Beach Hotel on Marine Parade where she had been staying.

Concerns are held for her welfare, with police calling for any information from the public and volunteers helping with the search.
 

WA Police Senior Sergeant Paul Robinson told the ABC on Friday while they will not rule anything out, there is no evidence of foul play at this stage.

Her daughter Maree also said in a statement to the media they’re “desperate” to find her.

“We‘re desperate to find Mum. This is very unusual for her,” she said.

“She loves Cottesloe, she loves this area, so if you see her or remember anything about her around the area, please come down here or see the police.”
