Friday, 26 Feb 2010 12:21pm

NSW Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s northwest.

Jasmine Singh, 16, was last seen leaving her family’s home on Jersey Street at Mount Colah, about 8pm on Thursday 18 February.

She drove from the scene in her mother’s car, a blue Toyota Corolla.

Officers from Kuring-gai Local Area Command have been following a number of lines of inquiry since Jasmine’s disappearance but have not been able to locate her.

Her friends have told police they have not had any contact with her since she went missing.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare as it is out of character for her to leave for this amount of time and also because she does not have a driver’s licence.

Jasmine is described as being of Indian/Pakistani appearance, thin build, with long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and white runners.

The car she is believed to be driving is a blue Toyota Corolla with NSW registration UKX 078.

Anyone with information about Jasmine’s whereabouts is urged to contact Hornsby Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
