BACKGROUND:
Evan Parker was born around 1946 and was living in Cundeelee, which is a small Indigenous Australian community in Western Australia located approximately 785 kilometres east of Perth and around 160 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie.

The Kalgoorlie Community Fair is an annual event that the Kalgoorlie community look forward to. It has been held for more than 60 years and is held at the Cruickshank Sports Arena.

Mr PARKER was a male in his late 30’s at the time of his disappearance.

The last confirmed sighting of Mr Parker was on Friday 30 March 1984, at the Kalgoorlie Community Fair. He was reported missing on Monday 7 May 1984, by a friend who had not seen Mr Parker for some months.

The person or persons responsible for Evan Parker’s disappearance have not yet been identified.
