MURDERED – Unsolved Cold Case/Suspicious Death

Deborah Michelle Anderson, 24yrs of age, found 12.26 am in burnt out vehicle Dance Drive, Middle Swan, WA on the 25th Jauary 2000.

My niece Deborah Michelle Anderson had planned to go to Perth Zoo on the day of the 24 January 2000. She borrowed her father's defacto car – a white ford laser. In the morning she stopped at the ATM machine at the Woodvale Shopping Centre. As my sister Maureen Morris (Deb's Mum) said

'something went drastically wrong that day to cause Debbie to change her plans?' Debbie drove 420kms to Geraldton (a town north of Perth) until she was found at the Dance Drive Shopping Centre. My sister and I felt quite strongly that her life had already been taken well before being

placed there. Debbie could be quite a character and had a good personality, she was happy and had everything to live for. At the time she was a hospitality student at a college in Perth City. She was loving the course, she had plans of opening her own restaurant one day, sadly that dream will never be realised.

Sadly I lost my sister a few short years after Debbie's life was taken, losing her beloved daughter and best friend took quite a toll on her health. The evil person/persons who are responsible for taking Debbie's life that day, as far as I am concerned, also took my sister's. My sister made me

promise before she passed that I never give up.

I appeal to members of the public that should anyone have any information to please come forward and help us solve my nieces case so that some kind of peace can be found and the people responsible are brought to justice. Sometimes people feel maybe the information they have may not

amount to much so they dismiss it and decide not to pass it on, it doesn't matter believe you me how much or how little, because sometimes it could be just the information we need.

To all the families of missing/murdered loved ones my love and prayers are with you all. Every night I pray and especially for those who don't know if their loved ones are still just missing or have met with foul play – it's torturous!

Deb's family firmly believe that she was murdered on that night.
