Police are searching for a man who is missing in the Kalpowar area.

65-year-old  Christopher Prentice (pictured) was last seen on Saturday the 15th of November at at address on Pine Street.

He has not made contact with family or friends since and police hold concerns for his welfare as his behaviour is out of the ordinary and he also suffers from a medical condition.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 170cms tall, of a slim build and has brown shoulder length hair and brown beard.

Investigations are continuing.

Aerial search for missing man

THE Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter assisted the The Queensland Police Service this morning in the search for missing 65-year-old man Christopher Prentice.

The helicopter became airborne just after 8:30am and searched for more than two hours in the Monto area.

There was no signs of the missing man and the crew returned to base just before 11am.

Mr Prentice was last seen at an address in Pine St, Kalpowar on Saturday, November 15.

Police say he has not made contact with family or friends, and they hold concerns for his welfare as his behaviour is out of the ordinary.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 170cm tall with a slim build, brown shoulder length hair and a brown beard.

Search resumes for missing Monto man

THE SEARCH for Christopher Prentice, a 65-year-old man from Kalpowar, resumed today.

But after searching from 8.30am until just before 11am around the Monto area, the Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter and police found no signs of the missing man.

Mr Prentice was last seen at an address in Pine Street Kalpowar on Saturday, 15 November.

Police say he has not made contact with family or friends, and they hold concerns for his welfare as his behaviour is out of the ordinary.

He is described as being caucasian in appearance, around 170 centimetres tall with a slim build, brown shoulder length hair and a brown beard.
