Missing man, North Mackay QLD
Police are seeking public assistance to help locate an
84-year-old man missing from North Mackay.
Christopher Henn last spoke with family around 8pm on Friday and has not
been seen since.
He suffers from a medical condition and although his current whereabouts are
unknown he has connections with the Mackay, Clermont and Turrawulla areas.
Mr Henn is travelling in his 2009 green Subaru Forester with Queensland
registration 164MSI.
He is described as Caucasian 180cm tall, slim build with thinning grey hair.
Anyone who has seen Mr Henn, his car or has further information is urged to
contact police.

Appeal for information – Missing man, North Mackay QLD
Mackay police are continuing to appeal for information as part of an ongoing
investigation regarding the disappearance of missing 84-year-old North
Mackay man Christopher Henn.
Christopher last spoke to his family on December 18 in the Pioneer Valley
area, and has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family hold concern for Christohper’s welfare as he has a
medication condition.
Speaking with police at a media conference in Mackay today, Christopher’s
wife Wanna Henn asked anyone with information to come forward as she missed
her husband greatly.
“I would like to ask anyone out there who has seen him or his car, please
report to the police or give police a call, please bring him home,” Ms Henn
said.
“Christopher, my dear husband, wherever you are, I hope you are in a safe
place.
“I miss you and I love you, please come home.”
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall, slim build with
thinning grey hair.
He may be travelling in his 2009 green Subaru Forester with Queensland
registration 164MSI (pictured below).
Police, including detectives from Mackay Criminal Investigation Branch, are
continuing with extensive investigations to locate Christopher including
patrols of properties and following up various lines of enquiry.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen Christopher or his vehicle
to come forward immediately.

Christopher Henn’s wife makes emotional plea for his return
A distraught wife of a man reported missing a week ago has made an emotional
plea for her husband to return home for Christmas. Read her heartbreaking

Christopher Henn, 84, last
spoke to his wife Wanna Henn on December 18 when he is believed to have
driven from his North Mackay home towards the Pioneer Valley.
It was there he last spoke to his wife who today made an emotional plea for him
to come home.
Mrs Henn said she had been in Sydney with her daughter since early November, and
had spoken with Mr Henn at least twice a day while she was in New South Wales.
During that time, Mrs Henn – who fronted a media conference alongside Acting
City Patrol Group Inspector Mick Searle on Christmas Eve – said she had waited
for the Queensland border to re-open before returning home to Mackay.
She arrived in Mackay days before Christmas earlier this week, but found no sign
of her husband.
“Christopher, my dear husband, wherever you are, I hope you are in a safe
place,” Mrs Henna said.
“I miss you and I love you, please come home.”
Acting Inspector Searle said Mr Henna is believed to have driven from his North
Mackay home in his green 2009 model Subaru Forester with Queensland registration
164MSI.
“We believe on the afternoon of the 18th of December, Mr Henn travelled through
the Pioneer Valley and up towards a bush area between Glenden and Eungella Dam
at which point contact has been lost with him,” Acting Inspector Searle said.
“Police have conducted a range of air and foot and vehicle searches in that area
and are yet to locate Mr Henn.”
The search area acted on information from the public about possible sightings of
Mr Henn at a service station in the area, with investigators not ruling out the
possibility the North Mackay man may have travelled north-west to the Charters
Towers area, or south.
Acting Inspector Searle said there was no indication of suspicious circumstances
surrounding the disappearance.
Police, including detectives from Mackay Criminal Investigation Branch, are
