NSW Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman who went missing from Sydney’s east earlier this week.

Roshni Chandar, aged 22, was last seen by her father about 6.45pm on Tuesday (17 February) when she left her family home at Merrylands.

She was last spoken to in the early hours of Wednesday (18 February) when she indicated she was at The Gap, Watsons Bay.

Police conducted a search of the surrounding area without result.

In following days the search has continued and has included Polair and Marine Area Command.

Police hold concerns for Ms Chandar’s welfare as she requires daily medication for asthma.

She is described as Indian in appearance, about 180cm tall, slim build with dark shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a grey jumper.

Anyone with information about Ms Chandar’s whereabouts is urged to contact Rose Bay Police on 9362 6399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
