Police search for missing Caboolture man

QLD Police are searching for a 34-year-old man who has been missing north of Brisbane for several days.

Mark David Cecchini was last seen leaving a property at Wamuran near Caboolture at the start of April.

SES and police searched the property today but found no sign of Mr Cecchini.

A search will resume tomorrow.

SEARCH and rescue teams are continuing to search for a man who has not been seen since leaving a Wamuran property, north of Brisbane, last week.

Mark David Cecchini, 34, was reported missing by his girlfriend on April 5 when she last saw him leave a Campbells Pocket Road property about 11.30pm on April 1.

About 60 state emergency service volunteers and police from Woodford and Caboolture have been searching for Mr Cecchini in the past couple of days in and near the property and surrounding area with no luck.

They recommenced their search at 7am today.

Mr Cecchini is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall, and of proportionate build. He has short, brown hair and blue eyes as well as tattoos on his right upper arm and chest.

Police are concerned for Mr Cecchini's welfare and have asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
