Appeal to find missing woman – Leichhardt

NSW Police from Leichhardt Local Area Command are seeking public assistance to find a woman missing since yesterday.

Catherine McLeay, aged 59, a resident at a nursing home in Leichhardt was last seen by staff about 5.30pm (Friday 15 October).

When Catherine could not be found by staff at 6pm she was reported missing to police.

Catherine is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 178cm tall and having long grey hair. She was last seen wearing grey slippers, light blue three-quarter pants and a black, long sleeve shirt.

Police holds concerns for the welfare of Catherine as she does not have any links to the area and needs daily medication.
