Queensland Police are searching for a man who was last seen at his home at Bundamba, near Ipswich, last Sunday.
Sixty-five-year-old Brian Maynard was reported missing by his wife.
Police say he may have been seen in the Cairns area yesterday.
He is described as 178 centimetres tall, with a slim build, a fair complexion and receding white hair.
Police say Mr Maynard has a medical condition.

Police are searching for a 65-year-old man who was last seen on May 3.
Brian Maynard was reported missing to police by his wife, after she last saw him at his Bundamba home at 10am.
Police are concerned for Mr Maynard’s safety and welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.
Inquires indicate he may have been sighted in the Cairns area on May 7.
He is described as approximately 178 centimetres tall with a slim build, receding white/grey hair and moustache, fair complexion, and wears glasses.
