Police concerned for welfare of child - Kiama

NSW Police continue to appeal for information as to the whereabouts of a missing child on the south coast.

Regan Barrett, 12, was last seen at 1:40pm yesterday with her 53-year-old father Patrick Anthony Barrett in Terralong Street at Kiama. The pair is believed to be in the Kiama area or travelling to the southern suburbs of Sydney. They may be travelling on public transport.

Police would like to speak with Patrick Anthony Barrett as they believe he may be able to assist authorities in locating Regan.

Police are also concerned that Regan may not be receiving medication that she requires daily.

Regan has been described as being of white/European appearance, of medium build, with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing white pants, a navy blue “Billabong” brand jacket, pink and white joggers and wearing hooped earrings.

Her father, Patrick, is described as being of white/European appearance, about 177cm tall, of thin build, crooked lower teeth with untidy grey hair. He was last seen wearing khaki coloured cargo pants, a blue/grey long sleeved shirt and a fleecy green jumper. He was also carrying a sash style bag.

Missing Kiama child may be in Sydney - ABC

Police believe a child missing from the New South Wales south coast for nearly a week may have travelled to Sydney.

Regan Barrett, 12, was last seen in Terralong Street in Kiama last Wednesday with her father Patrick Anthony Barrett, 53.

Police have been investigating the pair's disappearance ever since.

Police say their latest enquiries revealed the pair may have travelled to Sydney using public transport.

Investigators are becoming increasingly concerned for the child as she may not be receiving her daily medication.
