Andrew Hobbs was last seen at his home address in Clarence Gardens SA on Tuesday, 1 May 2018. 
There was a sighting of Andrew at 4.45pm this same day on the southern side of the river Torrens outlet at West Beach, SA.
On Thursday, 3 May 2018 a member of the public handed in items to Henley Beach Police Station that had been found near the walking trail on the southern side of the Torrens outlet.  These items were identified as belonging to Andrew.

Water search for missing man Andrew Hobbs at West Beach and River Torrens

POLICE are searching the River Torrens and West Beach area for a 62-year-old man who went missing a week ago.

POLICE are searching the River Torrens and West Beach area for a 62-year-old man who went missing a week ago.

Andrew Hobbs was last seen at Clarence Park about 2.30pm on May 1 and his family are concerned for his welfare.

Police divers searched the waters at the mouth of the river at Seaview Rd bridge about 12pm today.

Officers also combed nearby banks and beach area for several hours this afternoon.

They used boltcutters to remove a bicycle, which may have belonged to Mr Hobbs.

Police say the man was known to frequent the West Beach area, but so far they were unable to find anything else linked to him.

A public plea was released on Sunday and police urge anyone who may have found Mr Hobbs’ belongings around the beach area or has information on his whereabouts to get in touch.

Mr Hobbs could be in his white Toyota Echo SA registration number S565ADL.

He is caucasian, 178cm tall, balding with a slim build. He was wearing a grey top and long grey pants.
