2008-09-25 17:23:27
Campsie Police have urged members of the public to come forward if they can
assist with their investigation into the disappearance of a Lakemba man.
Twenty-four year old Sergio Andrade has not been heard from since having a phone
conversation with his partner at 6.45am on Monday, 22 September as he was
travelling to work.
Sergio's truck was found later the same day in the Botany Bay National Park. The
vehicle was found locked and intact. Investigators have conducted a thorough
search of the area with no sign of the missing man.
Although Sergio does suffer from an existing medical condition he had taken
medication on the day he disappeared.
Police are concerned for his welfare as relatives say that this disappearance is
totally out of character.
Sergio is described as being of white/European appearance with an olive
complexion. He is 24-years-old, 180cm tall with an ear ring in his left ear.
He has a goatee style beard, blue eyes and a tattoo of a cross on his upper
right arm.
When last seen he was wearing blue track pants, a light purple t-shirt with blue
sleeves and blue baseball cap.
Anyone with information about Sergio is asked to contact Campsie Police on 9784
9399 or Crime Stoppers on 1 800 333 000.
