29 year old student Ahsan Rashid was last seen on the Great Ocean Road in the Port Campbell area of Victoria. His car was located on a road leading up to a cliff on Wednesday 2nd December 2020 and it is thought the area may be around Loch Ard Gorge. Police divers and a land search have been unable to locate him.

Ahsan is 5'10, average build, he was wearing a brown jacket and the car that was recovered was a white 2012 Toyota Camry. Ahsan does like to visit the cliffside areas to study.

Police continue to search for Pakistani national missing since 1st December

 

A team of police search and rescue, airwing and Port Campbell police are conducting a search for a Pakistani national in Victoria who has been missing since Tuesday last week.

The search for 29-year-old Ahsan Rashid continues in Victoria.

According to local police, Ahsan’s vehicle was located on Gourdies Track carpark on the Great Ocean Road on Thursday 3rd December.

Ahsan was last seen in Melbourne on 1st December.

A friend of Ahsan, Syed Waseem told SBS Urdu that Ahsan recently graduated from Swinburne Institute of Technology and was planning to pursue a PhD.

“He came to Australia in 2017 and completed a Master’s degree in Networking.

“He liked photography a lot and used to go out for photography with his drone and DSLR camera.

"His family and friends are extremely worried and hoping for his safe return."

Friends and relatives of Ahsan have reached out to the community via social media to assist in finding the 29-year-old.
